GoodData is the winner of Amazon’s Third annual AWS Start-Up Challenge.
The scrappy new business intelligence company got $50,000 cash, $50,000 in Amazon Web Service credits and an investment offer from Amazon, according to Open Source Magazine’s Yeshim Deniz.
“The winner was chosen based on the originality of their idea, marketplace need, ability to execute,” Deniz reported, “and their implementation of AWS. Amazon Web Services provides reliable, scalable and secure infrastructure services on demand.”
GoodData effectively used the Amazon cloud platform to enable companies to easily start business intelligent projects at a fraction of the cost of comprehensive business intelligence services.
