GitHub is rolling out some new features that blur the lines between its paid and free plans. Organizations that use its paid Business Cloud and Enterprise version can now directly access GitHub’s millions of public open source repositories, something that wasn’t possible before. They also have access to a new unified search feature that searches both public and private repositories.
The code hosting service also made several other minor improvements to the Enterprise version of its service.
Microsoft recently announced plans to acquire GitHub, but the deal has not yet closed.
