FOSSology 1.2.0 is out and ready for you to download.
What FOSSology does is that it detects software licenses in text. While the project’s mission is to “build free software tools to facilitate the study and analysis of Free and Open Software Software,” right now, it detects licenses.
Version 1.2.0 finds licenses quicker and more accurately with what project developers are calling the Nomos License scanner. The old scanner, bSAM, is now obsolete.
More information about the latest version of FOSSology is available here. You can download it here.
