According to a new study released by staffing firm Bluewolf, developers with the right combination of skills and experience are in high demand for 2012. That’s leading to significant salary increases for some IT professionals. Top-earning skills including the following:

  • Mobile development—average salary: $98,000
  • Database and BI development—average salary: $88,000 to $110,000
  • User Interface design—average salary: $82,000 and $102,000
  • Software development—average salary: $99,000
  • HTML5 development—average salary: $82,000 to $119,000

The study also said that skills related to cloud computing are in high demand.
