Both Firefox and Chrome have recently improved their Web development features. For Firefox 23, Mozilla added to the Web developer toolbar a new options panel that makes it easier to customize the browser’s built-in debugger. The release also includes Network Monitor, which displays all the actions a browser takes when downloading a page. In addition, it improves some HTML5 support.
Not to be outdone, Google has updated its Chrome Developer Tools with Workspaces, a built-in code editor. The update also adds live editing of pre-processed CSS files and the ability to save scripts, bookmarks and utilities so that developers can access them while writing code.
