Amitt Mahajan and Joel Poloney, both part of the team that created Farmville, have created a new app marketing tool called Toro that might help other developers duplicated Farmville’s success. The tool aims to simplify the process of launching and optimizing a Facebook app install campaign.
According to the duo, Toro can test “hundreds of variants” of a campaign, determine which are working best and automatically adjust the budget for maximum effectiveness. As a result, developers should only have to check their campaigns “every couple of days.”
