The European Union has released open source tools via its CASPAR project to provide access to its treasure trove of digital data.
CASPAR stands for Cultural, Artistic and Scientific knowledge for Preservation, Access and Retrieval.
The Digital Preservation Services has a Facebook page and the source code is available on SourceForge.
