This week, Embarcadero Technologies announced the availability of two starter editions of their C++ Builder and Delphi Rapid Application Development (RAD) environments.
“This new, entry-level offering gives beginning developers, students and smaller development shops access to advanced development tools for less than $200,” Embarcadero spokesperson Jennefer Traeger said.
C++ Builder and Delphi Starter edition users are allowed to have up to five licenses running simultaneously within their network. Users may sell any applications or components developed with these tools until the annual license or service revenue exceeds $1,000 or their micro organization exceeds $1,000 in revenue overall.
