Docker Enterprise Edition 2.0 is now available. The biggest change in the update is that it now features a secured version of the Kubernetes container orchestration platform, in addition to Docker’s own Swarm technology. “Docker EE 2.0 brings the promise of choice,” said Docker Chief Operating Officer Scott Johnston. “We have been investing heavily in security in the last few years, and you’ll see that in our Kubernetes integration as well.”
The update also adds some new features that were developed for the open source Docker Community Edition.
