Three different DevOps tool vendors have announced significant new funding. CloudBees, which offers tools based on the open source Jenkins project, brought in the most funding of the three: $62 million. The capital came from Delta-v Capital, Golub Capital’s Late Stage Lending, Matrix Partners, Lightspeed Ventures, Unusual Ventures and Verizon Ventures. This brings the company’s total funding to more than $100 million.
Puppet, known for its automation server, has raised $42 million in additional funding, bringing its total to $150 million. It says it now has more than 40,000 customers, “including more than 75 percent of the Fortune 100.”
The least well known of the three, Codefresh, makes a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) platform for organizations that also rely on Kubernetes. It has raised $8 million, bringing its total funding to $15.1 million. It has 20,000 users.
