CA Technologies is purchasing application security vendor Veracode for $614 million. One of Veracode’s most notable products is a cloud-computing based DevOps platform for securing Web, mobile and enterprise applications.
“This acquisition will unify CA’s Security and DevOps portfolios with a SaaS-based platform that seamlessly integrates security into the software development process,” said Ayman Sayed, CA’s president and chief product officer.
The companies expect the deal to close before the end of June.
