Apple has notified iOS developers that by July all new updates pushed to the App Store must support the iPhone X’s unique display and the iOS 11 SDK. The company was already requiring new apps to support its latest phone and operating system update.

Apple has provided developers with a wide range of guidance on how to support iPhone X and iOS 11.

Rumors suggest that future iterations of the iPhone will likely include the same “notch” in the display as the iPhone X.
