Mobile game analytics provider SOOMLA has released its “Q1 2016 Mobile Gaming Insights” report, which finds that players who have made one in-app purchase are six times more likely to make a purchase in another game. Those who make an in-app purchase within 24 hours of downloading a game are nine times more likely to make a purchase in another game.
Other key findings included the following:
- More than 40 percent of those who paid $25 or more in one game said they would likely make a purchase in another game.
- 71 percent of in-game purchases are single-use goods, but 65 percent of revenue from in-game purchases comes from lifetime goods.
- Daily active users increase up to 33 percent on weekends.
