Apple wants to encourage iOS and OS X developers not to forget about the growing international market for their apps. To that end, this week it sent an email to developers that noted, “The App Store and Mac App Store are available in 155 countries, supporting 40 languages, and it has never been more important to localize your app and marketing material. By localizing both, you are making it easier to reach customers throughout the world.
One day prior to sending the email, Apple took its own advice and launched a localized version of its Support Communities forum for Chinese speakers.
