Apple has given developers and device owners an early holiday gift in the form of improved search for the App Store. The App Store’s search system can now compensate for simple misspellings and “fat finger” mistakes.
Experts say the change could lead to more downloads and more revenue for developers. “That’s great news for app publishers and yet another step in Apple’s efforts to improve app discoverability,” said Fiksu’s Craig Palli.
Google Play has offered a similar spell checking feature for some time.
