The Apache Software Foundation has promoted open source Apache Chemistry to a Top-Level Project.

Apache Chemistry is an implementation OASIS CMIS (Content Management Interoperability Services).

“Apache Chemistry is successfully driving adoption of the CMIS standard,” Apache Chemistry’s Florian Muller said. “An Apache Open Source implementation of CMIS is ideal for growing a developer community around the standard, which will improve interoperability, create new tools, and foster innovation.”
