Two Android smartphone owners in California have filed a lawsuit against Google claiming that the company’s 15-minute refund window is unreasonable. Both men say they purchased apps in the Android Market (now Google Play) which they later discovered to be non-functional. However, both were unable to get refunds because it took longer than 15 minutes to determine the apps weren’t working. They are seeking refunds and damages for every Californian who has purchased a bad Android app.
Unlike Google, Apple does not have a time limit for refunds on apps purchased through the App Store.
