But now Amazon announced the Appstore is expanding to nearly 200 countries, and it will begin selling its the high-end versions of its Kindle Fire tablets in 170 countries as well.
“We are thrilled to be expanding the reach of our global app distribution to nearly 200 countries,” said Amazon’s Mike George. “By further expanding the distribution of apps to millions of customers around the world, we are continuing to make it easy for customers to enjoy their Amazon apps on Kindle Fire and any Android device.”
Amazon also said its Kindle Fire HD is the online retailer’s best-selling product of all time.
