Microsoft & .NETVisual BasicBook Review: Professional Visual Basic Project Management

Book Review: Professional Visual Basic Project Management

As another book in the Wrox Professional Developer Library I thought that this one would be just another door wedge. Anyway, who needs project management?

Well, as it would appear, we all do. I for one have many projects half finished, mainly due to planning. Jake Sturm takes you through using Microsoft Project 98, Visual SourceSafe and UML to manage a project efficiently.

In this book you really learn how to plan out a project. Jake carries out a real world project within the book, showing you what needs managing and how to do it. So far, this is one of the few books that I have seen on Visual Basic and project management, and one of the few books that actually helps you.
