Open Source

gtk2-perl beta 0.91

This project provides perl bindings for gtk+ 2.x and a few related
libraries. This release includes several bugfixes, portability issues, and
missing functions in the latest betas for Gtk2 and Glib. Some dependency
issues for Gnome2 and Glade were also fixed.

Columba 0.12.0

A new stable version of Columba is now available. Columba is an email client
written in Java, featuring a user-friendly graphical interface with wizards
and internalionalization support. Its a powerful email management tool with
features to enhance your productivity and communication. So, take control of
your email before it takes control of you! This version has lots of new
features and includes many fixes since our last development release.

Barbecue 1.0.6b3

Fixes bugs with Code 39 implementation and barcode heights. All b1 and b2
users should update to this release. Production users should remain at 1.0.5
or earlier. Barbecue is a Java barcode solution that provides Java GUI
components for creating barcodes that can be printed and displayed on
screen, and used in servlets.

Intel PXA2x0 drivers 0.2.3

This is a driver collection for Intel PXA2x0 processor family (it includes
PXA210, PXA250, PXA255, PXA260, PXA261, PXA262, and PXA263) for Windows CE.
This package is intended primarily for BSP programmers and it is designed
with care of strict separation board specific code (they are not a part of
this package) from common PXA2x0 related stuff which forms this package
content. The openwince project collects free (open source) software tools,
modules, applications, drivers, and so on for Windows CE platform
developers. Some of the modules are usable outside Windows CE development
environment and are platform independent.

Tiki 1.7 -Eta Carinae- RC3

The rc3 replaces the rc2 and fixes the registration verification bug that is
blocking in rc2. Tiki is a powerful CMS/Groupware. Features: article, forum,
newsletter, blog, file/image gallery, wiki, drawing, tracker, directory,
poll/survey & quiz, FAQ, chat, banner, webmail, calendar, category, ACL, etc
in Single Sign-on or LDAP. (PHP/MySQL/Smarty)

phpMyAdmin 2.5.2

The phpMyAdmin development team welcomes you to update to the latest
version. We think that all issues of the June security alert have been
addressed (see FAQ 8.1). phpMyAdmin is a tool written in PHP intended to
handle the administration of MySQL over the WWW. Currently it can create and
drop databases, create/drop/alter tables, delete/edit/add fields, execute
any SQL statement, manage keys on fields. Marc Delisle, for the team.

NUnit 2.1 Beta 1

The NUnit 2.1 beta release has been updated to version 2.1.1. This will
continue to be part of Beta 1. A zipped source package has been added for
those who need it. Note that you still get the source with the install
package, so the zip is only needed by those who intend to build from source.
NUnit is a unit-testing framework for all .Net languages, ported from junit.
The following specific changes have been made: 1. Admin authority is no
longer needed to run nunit-gui. 2. The package is renamed to avoid download
issues. 3. NUnit 2.0 is no longer uninstalled automatically.

OpenRM Scene Graph 1.5.0 implements parallel rendering

OpenRM is a 2D/3D Scene Graph rendering engine for Linux/Unix/Win32 layered
atop OpenGL. Supports stereoscopy, volume rendering, 2D/3D texture mapping,
picking, LOD and view-dependent operations, text, and image-based data. New
in OpenRM Scene Graph 1.5.0 is direct support for distributed memory
parallel rendering when combined with Chromium (
This significant work is intended to be used by developers who need the
utmost in parallel application performance, and is designed to drive
extremely high resolution tiled displays in a distributed memory
environment. The “parallel OpenRM” is built to be completely independent of
all parallel programming frameworks, so developers can choose MPI, PVM, etc.
to build parallel applications and still benefit from a parallel scene

Druid 3.0 final

After a month of beta testing, the 3.0 release is finally out. This is
mainly a bug fix release with only a few adds: a new PDF doc gen module and
localization of the XHTML doc gen module (see changes in the files section).
All the docs have been moved from HTML to PDF to be printed and have been
revised and improved. Druid is a tool that helps the dba/developer to handle
database tables. Users can add/modify/delete database objects (fields,
tables, etc…) using a GUI. When the db structure is complete, druid can
generate the sql-script and docs in various formats.

HTML Parser Integration Release 1.4

HTML Parser is a library, written in Java, which allows you to parse HTML
(HTML 4.0 supported). It has been used by people on live projects.
Developers appreciate it’s ease of use. The architecture is flexible,
allowing you to extend it easily. This release includes a preliminary drop
of the new I/O subsystem (which isn’t integrated yet), incorporates JUnit
and Apache commons-logging liraries (also not used yet), and adds several
new tests of the contents of the StringBean.


Squashfs is a highly compressed read-only filestem for Linux. Release 1.3
adds support for FIFOs and sockets. It also has numerous optimisations and
small bug fixes. There are new patches for Linux 2.4.21 and Linux
2.6.0-test1. Squashfs compresses both files, inodes and directories, and
supports block sizes up to 32K for greater compression. It is implemented as
a kernel module under VFS.

RSSOwl ver. 0.3a

RSSOwl is a RSS reader written complete in Java using SWT as fast graphic
libary. Some features are saving of RSS favorites in different categories
and a TabFolder that shows multiple RSS feeds. The following features were
implemented in version 0.3a: Open RSS feed from URL or local file, save RSS
feed favorites in categories, Change language english / german, Change
fontsize. IMPORTANT: Although this release is intended for Win32 you can use
the program on many other platforms, after you installed the SWT graphic
libary for your OS.

Etherboot 5.0.11

This is the last planned release of 5.0. 5.0 now enters maintenance mode.
See notes and change log. Etherboot is Open Source code for creating boot
ROMs for network booting x86 platforms. It is also a coordination point for
information about free software related to network booting.

BitAnarch 1.0.5-Alpha3

BitAnarch is the most compact BitTorrent
client ever. It is available in three languages, with multiple downloads
support, full unicode filename support, newsgroup scanning, automation, drag
and drop support, etc. you name it. With a RAM usage of less than 10MB.
