JGraph 3.0

JGraph is the most powerful, lightweight, feature-rich, and thoroughly documented open-source graph component available for Java. It is accompanied by JGraphpad, the first free diagram editor for Java that offers XML, Drag and Drop and much more! This is a package renaming change and directory cleanup. More changes for 3.x are in the works.

DrJava stable release

A new stable release of DrJava is now available. DrJava is an integrated Java development environment that supports interactive evaluation of expressions. It is primarily intended for students, but it has features useful even for advanced users. This release includes many large new features, including the ability to test all open JUnit test files, easily run the main method of a program, find and replace across all open documents, and load a history file as a script that can be executed one line at a time. There have been interface improvements including a convenient box that appears in the Interactions Pane to accept input from System.in, listing JUnit test methods as they are being run, and configurable colors that now work in all panes.

JFreeReport 0.8.3f

JFreeReport 0.8.3f was released yesterday. It contains more bugfixes to JFreeReport while waiting on the next real release. JFreeReport is a Java class library for generating reports. It provides a flexible printing functionality for Java applications and supports output to Printers and PDF, Excel, HTML and XHTML, PlainText, XML and CSV files. To give everybody a reason to upgrade, this version now contains a progress monitor dialog for all gui report-operations.

RSSOwl ver. 0.6b

RSSOwl is a RSS reader written complete in Java using SWT as fast graphic libary. Some features are saving of RSS favorites in different categories and a TabFolder that shows multiple RSS feeds. It supports reading of RSS from an URL or a local file. The RSSOwl development team is happy to announce a new release with a lot of new features and improved usability. You may now view RSS news in an internal browser tab and subscribe to feed-lists to share cool RSS news with others. RSSOwl now comes with a huge list of sample RSS feeds sorted into more than 30 categorys and subcategorys.

GanttProject 1.9.8

After two release candidate, ganttproject 1.9.8 has been released. Ganttproject is a pure Java application thats lets you plan project using Gantt charts. It uses a file format based on XML and can export into HTML Web pages or PNG images.

phpMyAdmin 2.5.3

phpMyAdmin is a tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the WWW. Currently it can create and drop databases, create/drop/alter tables, delete/edit/add fields, execute any SQL statement, manage keys on fields.

DWSII 2.0

The release of DWSII 2.0 is finally out. It contains detailed documentation, interesting add-on’s and of course many new features in the component itself. DelphiWebScript is a scripting language for use in Borland Delphi(tm) projects. The programming language is similar to Delphi. It’s HTML features are optimal for web applications and report modules.

KDE 3.1.3(a) RPMs moved to stable

The kde 3.1.3(a) packages have been moved to the stable repository. Get ’em while they’re hot. The KDE for RedHat project intends to promote the use of KDE and KDE-based applications on RedHat Linux. (3.1.4 is in the works, and maybe, just maybe, we may see a preview of 3.2 showing up in unstable in the not-too-distant future.).

Tiki 1.7.1.1 -Eta Carinae

TikiWiki 1.7.1.1 has been released! (1.7.1.1 fixes a blocking wiki edit bug in 1.7.1). This release offers various bugfixes and improvements. All Tiki sites (1.6, 1.7) are recommended to upgrade to this stable version. Affected features: challenge/response feature, email validator, translations, page description, HAWHAW toolkit, HotWords, category listing, LDAP authentication, forum threads, caching URLs with common binary file, TikiHelp? links & various theme and visual fixes.

NTFS 2.1.4b available for Linux kernel 2.4.22

The goals of this project are: create a new Linux kernel driver for the NTFS file system (v1.2 and later 3.0), user space utilities (e.g. format, ntfs check, etc.) and a library to avoid code duplication and provide access to NTFS to other GPLed programs. This release is a new version of the patch for 2.4.21. There have been no changes to the NTFS code.

QGIS version 0.0.12

QGIS 0.0.12 is available. The biggest change is the ability to select features in shapefiles and zoom to the selected set. Features can be selected by dragging the mouse or from the attribute table (thanks to Marco). Quantum GIS (QGIS) is designed to be a Geographic Information System (GIS) built for Linux/Unix. QGIS will offer support for vector and raster formats. The other major change is the Identify function now returns all features within the search radius and displays them in a tree view

Progect 0.26

Progect is a project manager application for Palm type PDA’s, it is very simple and easy to use, but powerful nonetheless. If you manage projects and you have a Palm type PDA you will want to look at this software. Today version 0.26 was released, it includes a large number of stability fixes and has no major stability problems.
