Yahoo has purchased Blink, a self-destructing message app similar to SnapChat. However, Yahoo wasn’t really interested in the app—it reportedly wanted to add Blink’s seven team members, including several iOS and Android developers, to its employee roster.
The Blink app has been downloaded more than 100,000 times, but the service will soon be eliminated. Yahoo did not disclose the terms of the deal.
