Which Companies Pay Software Engineers the Highest Salaries?

When you think about organizations that pay developers very well, companies like Apple, Facebook and Google probably come to mind. However, according to a new survey from Glassdoor, none of these companies is number one on the list. Instead, that distinction belongs to Juniper Networks.

Here are the top ten companies for average software engineer pay:

  1. Juniper Networks - $159,990
  2. LinkedIn - $136,427
  3. Yahoo - $130,312.
  4. Google - $127,143
  5. Twitter - $124,863
  6. Apple - $124,630
  7. Oracle - $122,905
  8. Walmart - $122,110
  9. Facebook - $121,507
  10. Integral - $117,927
