A new survey by Appcelerator revealed some conflicting developer opinions about Apple and iOS. On the one hand, 89 percent of developers were very interested in building for Apple’s iPhone, and 86 percent were very interested in iPad. On the other hand, 90 percent of those surveyed said that over the last three years Apple had made developers’ lives more difficult or had remained about the same in regards to app store submission, fragmentation, and monetization.

On the Android side of the aisle, 77 percent of developers were very interested in building for Android smartphones, and 64 percent were interested in Android tablets.
