Rovio, the mobile development firm behind the Angry Birds franchise, has experienced a sharp drop in its stock price. In 2017, Rovio earned a very respectable $365 million. But after the company warned that revenues would be lower in 2018, the value of its shares decreased by 50 percent.
At one point, the company’s market cap was around $1 billion, but it is now worth less than $500 million.
