Google has announced that it will release the completed version of its Angular 2.0 JavaScript framework Thursday night after a lengthy testing period. The company released a beta version of the tool last December and a release candidate in May.

The update gives developers the option to use third-party libraries or to write their own, and it includes the Angular CLI command-line interface as well as enhanced versions of its router, forms and core APIs. "With ahead-of-time compilation and built-in lazy loading, we've made sure that you can deploy the fastest, smallest applications across the browser, desktop, and mobile environments," said Jules Kremer, technical program manager for Angular.
