The latest update to the Android IDE is now generally available. Google has released Android Studio 3.2, which was first announced at May's Google I/O event. New features in the tool include support for Android App Bundles (Android's new publishing format), an Energy Profiler, Android Emulator Snapshots, Slices support, sample data, CMakeList editing support and a What’s New assistant.

“By using Android Studio 3.2, you can also develop for the latest technologies ranging from Android Jetpack, to the latest in Google Artificial Intelligence (AI) APIs with Android Slices,” blogged Jamal Eason, product manager for Android.
