New features in KitKat include a redesigned interface, a Web-connected phone dialer, search within apps, improved speech recognition features, tighter integration with Google Now, HDR+ photo technology, wireless printing and storage improvements. The OS also will now fit in 512MB of RAM, meaning that it may soon appear on more low-end smartphones.
