The Google Play Store has a new feature that could be a boon for the mobile development industry. It has launched a beta program that adds a “try now” button to select games, allowing users to play Android games briefly without downloading them. It’s an expansion of the Instant Apps feature, and it could entice more users to download games.

For now, the feature is limited to a select group of apps that includes Clash Royale, Words with Friends and Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire. Interested mobile development pros can sign up to have their games included in the program.
