In the latest salvo in the cloud computing wars, Google has launched a new program to go after startups. Google Cloud Platform for Startups will offer young companies $100,000 worth of credit that can be used to purchase Google cloud services. In a blog post, the company explained, "This offer supports our core Google Cloud Platform philosophy: we want developers to focus on code; not worry about managing infrastructure."
