Google Android Marshmallow to Begin Rollouts Next Week
During an event to announce new Nexus hardware, Google revealed that it will begin rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to mobile devices next week. As usual, Google's Nexus line of products will be the first to get the update.
Marshmallow's key new features of interest to the mobile development industry include a new app permissions system, "Doze" battery saving mode, Google Now on Tap, fingerprint scanner support and the new app drawer.
