For the 53rd time, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced a price reduction for its cloud computing services. Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) will lower prices on Dec. 1. The decreases will affect On-Demand, Reserved Instance (Standard and Convertible) and Dedicated Host prices for C4, M4, and T2 instances, and some reductions will be as high as 25 percent.
"Our engineering investments, coupled with our scale and our time-tested ability to manage our capacity, allow us to identify and pass on the cost savings to you," blogged AWS evangelist Jeff Barr.
