At its Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple announced that it is consolidating its developer program and making it more affordable to develop apps for Apple platforms. Developers can now get access to tools for iOS, OS X and watchOS for $99 per year. (Previously, the OS X and iOS programs each had a separate $99 fee.)

In addition, the company revealed that there are now 1.5 million App Store apps, which have been downloaded more than 100 billion times. Apple has paid out $30 billion to developers so far.

During the event, Apple also announced updates for watch OS, iOS, OS X and Swift, in addition to debuting a new streaming music service.
