Apple: iOS Apps Must Have Privacy Policy by Oct. 3

  • By Developer.com Staff

Apple has announced that all App Store apps — including those in testing — must have a privacy policy by October 3, 2018. If not, apps could be kicked out of the store. Analysts say the change is likely a response to Europe's GDPR regulation, which holds platforms partially responsible for privacy violations committed by third-parties using their platforms.
