Amazon has announced that the Amazon Appstore for Android is now accessible in Europe for the first time. Android users in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain can download apps and other content from the store. Amazon has been accepting apps from mobile development pros for international distribution since June.
In related news, Amazon also announced that its Kindle Fire tablet is now sold out. The company is expected to announce the successor to the Kindle Fire at an event scheduled for next week.
