 SharePoint RichText Boost

RichText Boost provides an additional toolbar for RichText editor. It extends the functions of default RichText editor without replacing RichText editor or creating a new column type. These new functions include:
Increase/decrease size of RichText area without posting back. By default, users can't adjust the size of RichText area when editing item; it is not convenient when users want to input large text or insert large images or tables etc. With RichText Boost toolbar, users can freely increase/decrease height/width of the RichText area. These operations are completed on the client side without posting back to server.
Upload and insert images as item attachments into RichText editor. By default, users must input a full URL when inserting an image to RichText editor. In most occasions, users need to insert the images into RichText editor as the attachments of the editing item. It is inconvenient because users may save-open the item many times for inserting images to RichText editor. With RichText Boost, users can click "insert attached image" button on the additional toolbar and a dialog will popup. Then users can upload image files in this dialog, and the image files will be saved as the attachments of the item. Finally users can select any attachment to insert into RichText editor.
Hide empty entries of RichText appending history records. If users select "Append Changes to Existing Text" choice when creating a multi-line text column, the content input by anyone will be appended to the existing text and displayed as a history record. If users just modify other column content, there will be an empty entry with just user name and modify time, but no content. RichText Boost will hide these empty entries. SharePoint Cross-Site Lookup

What Does It Do?
SharePoint Cross-Site Lookup provides additional features beyond the default Lookup function of SharePoint 2007. These features include:
1.Allow users to refer to a lookup list from a different site in one site collection.
2. Support conversion from Cross-Site Lookup column to default Lookup type; therefore, altering the content of Cross-Site Lookup column in datasheet view will be achieved.
3.Find-as-you-type function makes all the objects which are listed in the Dropdown list with the same letter as input word shadowed and chosen quickly.

Why Did We Build It?
Default SharePoint list settings support intra-site lookup function but cannot meet end users' demands when it comes to looking up some information on other sites in the same site collection.
On the other hand, most Cross-Site Lookup can't be converted to default SharePoint Lookup column type so that many users feel inconvenience when they need to change content of Cross-Site Lookup column in datasheet view.
When users choose objects from dropdownlist of lookup column, they often have to scroll down through all the other objects. Find-as-you-type function is an enhancement tool for improving efficiency in the case of this problem. SharePoint Permission Boost

1. Assign permissions to all items separated from list permission settings. There are times when you need to control permissions to all items but not want to inherit permissions from parent list permission settings. SharePoint Permission Boost Workflow can solve this problem instead of manually setting permissions to each item. With it, permission settings will be automatically applied to each item when this item is created or modified; 2. Assign ITEM-RELATED users or groups permissions to each item. For instance, in a task list, you want the assignee of one task, but not some specified users or groups, to have read permission to this task. Since each task item has its own assignee, it will be difficult if you set read permission to each item when assignee is appointed or changed. SharePoint Permission Boost Workflow brings in a concept named "TEM-RELATED users or groups" which actually means user or group columns in a list, to solve this problem. 3. Assign users or groups read/edit permissions to list columns.
