Which Apps Drain Your Battery the Fastest?

Security vendor AVG has published a new report detailing which Android apps run down users’ batteries the fastest. The list includes the following:

1. Beaming Service for Samsung
2. Security Policy Updates
3. Facebook
4. Waze
5. Vault
6. Path
7. Candy Camera
8. MagicApp
9. Al-Moazin Lite
10. WhatsAppMessenger

The report also listed apps that consume a lot of storage space (Tango, Daily Mail Online, Facebook, Spotify, Line) and apps that consume a lot of mobile data (Daily Mail Online, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify).

Lists like these could encourage the mobile development industry to pay more attention to the impact apps have on smartphone resources.
