The Source Code Behind the Moon Missions
This week marks the 45th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission that landed on the moon, and plenty of tech sites are celebrating by looking back at the technology that made the moonshot possible. ReadWrite is taking a look at the code behind the systems.
A couple of features stand out in the source code. First, it uses an unusual verb-noun syntax, with two numbers representing each verb or noun. Second, the code includes some humorous comments, many of which have been catalogued in a Hacker News thread.
