Survey: Most Coding Boot Camp Graduates Find Good Jobs

In recent years, a huge number of coding boot camps have cropped up, but do these short, intensive courses actually help graduates find jobs?

A new report says “yes.” In its 2014 Programming Bootcamp Graduate Survey, Course Report found that 75 percent of boot camp graduates had a full-time job that used the skills they learned. On average, their new jobs paid 44 percent more than their old ones—about $25,000 more.

Still, the cost for a boot camp is significant: students paid an average of $10,000 in tuition.
