The Wall Street Journal is reporting that “people familiar with the matter” are saying that the next generation of iPhones will incorporate Force Touch technology. Force Touch allows devices to determine how much force is involved when a user presses a screen and react differently to light or hard touches. Apple has integrated the technology into its most recent MacBook and Apple Watch already.
The unnamed source also said that Apple plans to keep the next iPhone display sizes the same as the current generation, and that the company is considering offering pink phones in addition to the current silver, gold and gray options.
