Citing unnamed “people familiar with the intended revamp,” Bloomberg is reporting that Apple plans to roll out a redesigned version of its App Store which will include personalized recommendations. The recommendations, based on previous purchases, will be available under a tab labelled “For You.” The redesigned App Store is also said to be identical for both iPhones and iPads.
Apple declined to comment on the story. Its competitors, Google and Amazon, already offer personalized recommendations to their app store users.
In related news, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced to Apple employees that the company has sold its one billionth iPhone.
