Red Hat to Release Arquillian App Testing Tool
As early as next month, Red Hat plans to release its Arquillian ("ar keelian") technology for integrated testing of enterprise Java applications. The tool has already been issued as a release candidate, and the final release code will probably be part of JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6.
"Arquillian enables portable integration tests for enterprise apps," explained Dan Allen, Red Hat principal software engineer. It makes it easier for developers to conduct testing by providing a simple test harness to abstract away container lifecycle and deployment from test logic.
