Red Hat has announced that it will make it easier for community developers to contribute code changes for its OpenShift Origin cloud development platform. Both internal and outside developers will now submit code for the open source platform as a service project in the same way–by submitting a pull request on GitHub.

In addition, Red Hat said that developers will be able to track the progress of their changes through a Jenkins-based continuous integration environment. It will also provide more communication with community developers through a project enhancement proposals page on GitHub, the OpenShift Origin mailing list, its Google+ page and Red Hat’s Trello storyboards.
