NetBeans IDE Passes 1 Million Users
NetBeans has announced that it now officially has more than 1 million active users. "That's not downloads," says NetBeans senior manager John Jullion-Ceccarelli. "That number represents people who are regularly using NetBeans IDE each month. NetBeans IDE has come a long way.”
Now managed by Oracle, NetBeans was first created by students in the Czech Republic in 1996. The latest version supports the new features in the just-released Java 7.
