MyEclipse Bling IDE Brings Together IBM Webshpere and Spring
Application development tool vendors Genuitec and Skyway Software have teamed up to launch a new IDE called MyEclipse Bling. It enables developers who use IBM's Rational tools to adopt Spring technologies when creating WebSphere-deployable applications. It includes Java editors, HTML editors, Inspectors, Maven, Hibernate, application lifecycle management (ALM) dashboards, project team synchronization, and other features.
The unusual name for the product comes from a mash-up of the names of two products on which Bling was based, MyEclipse Blue Edition and MyEclipse for Spring. Annual subscriptions for MyEclipse Bling start at $250.
