Microsoft Updates the Windows Phone App Hub

Microsoft is taking the wraps off an updated App Hub portal for Windows Phone 7 developers. Part of the Mango release of the Windows Phone operating system, the new App Hub offers new private distribution options and enhanced application and account management capabilities.

Along with the new features, Microsoft also announced that the App Hub will support app distribution in 19 more countries (in addition to the 16 already supported) and app development in seven more countries.

The company also invited developers to begin submitting apps for the Mango release in August.
