LibreOffice Release Candidate 1 Is Now Available

The first release candidate of the OpenOffice fork, The Document Foundation's LibreOffice, is now available.

It's not ready for product use, but there's now a beta version of LibreOffice for Windows, Linux, Linux 64-bit and Mac OS X.

"There are known issues, so please consider reading the release notes ... the most obvious being the incomplete language packaging situation," the announcement said.
