Internap Launches OpenStack Cloud Service
XIPCloud Storage is Internap's new cloud storage solution built on the open source OpenStack infrastructure.
XIPCloud is currently in beta, but Internap says it will be a "very short" testing period, The Register's Cade Metz reported.
"This is the first service provider who's deploying OpenStack and building an offering around it," Rackspace's Jonathan Bryce told The Register. "It adds validation to the OpenStack codebase and what we were hoping OpenStack would be able to accomplish".
