Intel to Port Android 3.0 to x86 Based Processors
Intel has been partnering with top-shelf notebook and smartphone vendors in order to design new systems embedded with the Intel x86 chipset. Paul Otellini, Intel's president and CEO stated that Google is working to move their tablet-specific Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb over to the x86 based architecture.
