HTTP streaming Coming to Ruby on Rails
Ruby on Rails Web development framework v3.1 will bring with it the much anticipated support for HTTP streaming. Expected to improve page load performance, the update will also include the JQuery as the default JavaScript library. The latest HTTP streaming feature now makes it possible for the browser to quickly fetch stylesheets and JavaScripts prior to the server processing the entire fetch request thus significantly increasing load times.
